The Friedrichshafen Rally - 2008

Eleven members of Wirral & District Amateur Radio Club made a successful journey to HAM RADIO 2008 International Rally at Friedrichshafen.  Similar to last year .. seven club members flew to Basel and picked up a train direct to Friedrichshafen, three drove all the way through France and spent a few extra days in the locality whilst Andy flew from Edinburgh to Munich and drove down from there.

Weather was dry but not too hot .. and no thunderstorms or rain for 2008.  "First timers" this year were Kenny G8GTI and XYL Vera, who by all accounts had a great time.

Once again it proved a most enjoyable few days away to a truly beautiful part of Germany and an excellently run Ham Radio Rally.  I have no doubts our Wirral & District ARC contingent is likely to increase in numbers again next year as the popularity increases.

I think you've seen most of Friedrichshafen so here are a few photos of the rally this year.
