Christmas Night Out - Sun Dec 3rd 2006

This year we changed to a Sunday evening and a new venue for our Christmas Night out which was supported with over 40 Club members, family and friends.  After our visits to the Twelfth Man in Greasby failed to impress, Gordon, our Chairman, was determined to find us a new venue which would cater for our needs.

And so this year we visited Sheldrakes in Lower Heswall where they kindly put on a carvery specially for us which was excellent and as far as I am aware "ticked all our boxes".

Our thanks to Gordon G8MMM who negotiated over several months with Sheldrakes and masterminded the logistics of the evening, including a fine raffle.  Thanks also to the committee for their support and to the members who once again supported the evening and were in fine form.  It is intended very much as a family event and it was most rewarding once again to see so many xyl's at the event.
