The D&W is an opportunity to ask questions about amateur radio and discuss the latest trends in electronics in general many of which are often still in research or development in a friendly and convivial atmosphere. They regularly prove most interesting and rewarding to those who attend.
It is especially suitable forum to anyone thinking of Amateur Radio as a hobby whatever your age or background and you will be made most welcome.
Always check the website regularly for the latest information and any changes to our programme.
April 5th 2021 - Important Announcement.
With the Government Lockdown regulations slowly beginning to be released over the coming months, we hope there just might be an opportunity to re-start club Meetings and D&W's again. Watch this space for the latest details.
In the meantime we have developed a regular ZOOM night on a Wednesday evening from 8pm for a couple of hours or so and should any members be interested in joining in, please email our secretary Simon G6XHF for details. firstname.lastname@example.org
The conversation is varied, often with questions about radio and it's associated technical topics It's as near to sitting in a group in a pub chatting about radio as it's possible to be. If you do join in, don't forget to bring your own beer !
Do check our WADARC Facebook page, looked after by Phil G6IIM who is always glad to receive news items
Visitors and prospective new members are welcome to join us on any evening we meet up whether it be a club night or a D&W
